SA Youth empowers San Antonio’s high-risk youth and young adults to achieve their full potential by providing quality educational programming in a safe environment. The organization’s prime focus is helping young people achieve academic success, develop their character, and promote healthy lifestyles.
We are proud to call SA Youth an adopter of the Charity Charge Nonprofit Business Card and reached out to CEO Asia Ciaravino to ask why her organization chose to partner with us. Asia said:
This card offers a convenient way for supporters of SA Youth to give back. Every time a purchase is made, a percentage is contributed to our organization. You are making a difference just by going to the grocery store!
Asia’s favorite feature of the Charity Charge card is that “a percentage of all purchases benefits SA Youth!” She also praised the team for outstanding customer service. “The team at Charity Charge took the time to explain how the card works, making it easier for us to sign up and encourage others to do the same.”
SA Youth helps youth in highly distressed neighborhoods achieve life success through hard work, determination, and opportunities to excel. Their programs aim to achieve three primary goals: improving educational achievement, developing positive values and character, and developing a healthy lifestyle. Asia’s passion for SA Youth’s work is evident when she talks about her organization:
SA Youth gives children and young adults the ability to dream big and accomplish their goals. How could you NOT be passionate about helping kids reach their potential? I am lucky to work for a mission that makes our community a better place and gives our students the pathway to success.
SA Youth believes that giving your time to make a difference in a child’s life is one of the greatest gifts a person can give. If you have a passion for making a difference for children, we encourage you to learn more about how to become involved in SA Youth’s mission.
